The information sheets presented here encompass one of the measures outlined in the Swiss National Forest Programme concerning recreation and leisure in the forest. This complex topic is presented in the form of a toolbox containing empirical statistics, instruments, checklists and examples. The data and information is drawn from the literature, expert opinion and examples from practice in the field. This publication provides a comprehensive initial account of the topic, however some questions remain open.
